Project: Saruman the White Redesign

My contribution to this month's @characterdesignreferences challenge: Middle Earth's Saruman the White! I decided to spend more of the month doing a new aspect of the character every few days to really get a new overall design on a familiar character. Redoing his robe design, I still tried to stay true to his original look and keep him recognizable. The contrast of the black staff and new crown show his devotion and affiliation to Sauron and I felt pushed a new, but still familiar look.
