Mushroom Fighter Design Process

My piece for this month's Character design References competition. The theme was 'Mushroom Fighter', so I decided to go for a Ronin assassin inspired by Phallus Indusiatus aka, the Bamboo Mushroom. I loved the frayed veil and cloak that mimic the fungi's net covering.
